Here you will find an excerpt in English of the rest of the website, at least the essential parts, so that you may find out who we are, what we offer, and how, where, and when you can contact us. If you are more comfortable speaking English, do not hesitate to do so when you call us. Our English may not be perfect, but we shall do our best. For taking good care of your pet, our language proficiency only plays a secondary role.
Location, Contact Information and Hours
Our address is Mühlenkamp 21a, which is behind Mühlenkamp 21, right at the intersection of Gertigstrasse. We have two parking spaces for our clients. If you are coming with public transportation, the number 6 or the number 25 bus will bring you almost to our doorstep. We have consultations Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 plus Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 16:00 to 18:00 by appointment.
You may also come Monday and Wednesday from 16:30 to 18:30 without an appointment and simply wait your turn. Please take note that for some conditions it is not only advisable to have an appointment, but it may also be necessary for you to prepare beforehand. For example, you might need to bring in a stool or urine sample. Or it might be necessary for your pet to come in on an empty stomach. We can advise you of any such measures if you call us before coming in.

You may also contact us by email, but please note that we generally only read and respond to email before opening between 9:00 and 9:30 and between 15:30 and 16:00 just before our afternoon hours. Emails are read only by the assistants, not by the doctor. In urgent cases it is preferable to call. In an emergency and outside of our normal operating hours, you can call the: Veterinary Emergency Service of the Hamburg Veterinarian Association – 040 43 43 79.

Our Practice
We are located right on a canal in a quiet location, conducive to healing. The proximity to nature, with geese and ducks on the canal, creates a soothing atmosphere. Each member of our team makes every effort to establish the necessary trust and confidence with both the pet and the owner which is required to facilitate examinations and treatments. The design of our office is also geared toward providing maximum comfort and ease for both pet and owner and takes into account the different needs in this respect of different kinds of animals.
Our services
The service we offer span the entire range of general care (e.g. diet consultation, dental care, or clipping claws), preventive care (e.g. vaccinations or microchips for tracking), and treatment. We are equipped with the latest in medical devices in order to provide the optimal care for your pet in diagnosis, in treatment, and in surgery. We have extensive experience in internal medicine, ear-nose-throat, dermatology, dental medicine, and genital surgery. We also have our own well-stocked in-house pharmacy.
